  external and rackmount versions. Custom options are available for dial operation
  and onboard protocol support.

High Speed Modems

• 1442E/R and 3342E/R - V.34, V.32bis, V.22bis, V.22, V.23, V.21, Bell212A
  and Bell 103J, two wire dial and 2 or 4 wire leased line. Both synchronous
  and asynchronous DTE are supported. All units are available with VAC or
  VDC power, 5.5 - 75VDC. Models are available in both external and rackmount
  versions.

Low Power Standby Modems

• 1442E and 3342E - These models are designed to enter a low power standby
  state when there is no activity. Standby current is approximately 5ma.
  Available in external version.

Security Modems

• 3342E / 3342ER - These models feature password protection, caller ID
  protection and audit trail capabilities with precision time keeping. They are
  available in external and rackmount versions. In addition, a multi-port
  version is available which is field upgradeable up to 8 ports. The
  modems are available VAC or VDC power.
